Ms. Jennifer Dabisch is the Joint Product Lead of Diagnostics within the Medical Countermeasure Systems Joint Project Management Office (JPMO) headquartered at Fort Detrick, Maryland. In this role, she is responsible for the development, acquisition, fielding, and life cycle support of medical devices intended for use in the diagnosis, mitigation, and treatment due to exposure to chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear threats (CBRN). She directly aids in the total lifecycle management for the Joint Biological Agent Identification and Diagnostic System (JBAIDS) and the Next Generation Diagnostics System (NGDS). Ms. Dabisch graduated from the University of Mary Washington in 2002 with a bachelor’s degree in Biological Science. She achieved Department of Defense (DoD) Level III certification in Program Management and Level I certification in Logistics. Additionally, Ms. Dabisch is a certified Program Management Professional (PMP). Prior to joining MCS at Fort Detrick, she served as the Deputy Joint Product Director of Biosurveillance, overseeing the execution of several Biosurveillance initiatives and the Critical Reagents Program (CRP) in addition to the JBAIDS and NGDS programs of record. Such initiatives and programs required collaborating with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, and other DoD laboratories to validate in vitro diagnostic kits for biowarfare agents. She also facilitated an Emergency Use Authorization, which enabled qualified and forward deployed sites to run the CDC Influenza A/H1N1 assay suite to rapidly diagnose H1N1 in the field. She also provided technical support to customers and served as a subject matter expert on several working integrated product teams, including the Detection & Diagnostic Reagents Working Group. Ms. Dabisch assumed her current role as Joint Product Lead in September 2013.
